One of the biggest challenges I faced on this journey was the abundance of mosquitoes. Despite the harsh conditions, these pesky insects thrive in the area, so be prepared to protect yourself. But even with the mosquitoes buzzing around, the stunning scenery makes it all worth it.

Another highlight of this journey was the opportunity to encounter wild reindeer. These magnificent animals are a common sight in Abisko, and getting up close and personal with them is an experience I’ll never forget.
